Cat Snap 

Is a cozy, slightly chaotic placement puzzle where you manage an endless deck of quirky cats, place them onto rotating terrain grids, and try your absolute best to keep everyone happy.

The catch? These cats have strong opinions about their neighbors. If you crowd the wrong cats together, you'll trigger a conflict. You’ve got a limited time to fix the layout before the conflict timer runs out otherwise, your furry folks explode!

Install instructions

Download & Installation

Windows:

1. Download the  CatSnap_Windows.zip file.

2. Right-click the zip file and choose / Extract All... /

3. Open the extracted folder and double-click / CatSnap.exe / to play!

*(Note: Do not separate the .exe from the _Data folder or the game will not start).*

Linux:

1. Download the / CatSnap_Linux.zip / file.

2. Extract the archive to your preferred directory.

3. Open your terminal in the folder, grant execution permissions (`chmod +x CatSnap`), and run the game.

Cat Snap is a delightfully cozy yet chaotic placement puzzle where you manage an endless deck of quirky cats. Placing them onto the rotating terrain grids and trying to keep everyone happy before the conflict timer runs out is incredibly fun. You really have to pay attention to their strong opinions about neighbors, or else your furry folks will explode! I give it 67 cats out of 10!"

A very interesting puzzle. 11 cats out of 10. I’d ask the creator to make targeting the back row of cats easier and to fix the issue where two explosions with different timings occur with a one-cat gap between them; then it would be 13 meows out of 10.
